is meeting the demand for customer self-care and channel sales management. Zephyr
Net supports all WLR order types as well as CPS and Broadband.
Partners or customers can build and submit their own orders, and manage the order
status in real time. But Zephyr Net is not limited to Tempest’s own web portal.
An open-systems architecture allows seamless integration with CRM or third-party
web portals, for example.
Using published APIs, Zephyr Net accepts and processes order definitions built within
other systems. Currently there are two main ways of implementing this – but more
are possible.
Firstly, by utilising a web portal, customers or channel partners can build and
submit their own orders.
Zephyr communicates with the portal and the supplier’s gateway (for example, the BT SPG), to provision and provide real-time status updates.
In addition, companies with in-house CRM or order management systems can use these
to build the required order definition, which is then transmitted in real time (or
batches) to Zephyr Net. |
