Tempest brand established at Summit.

Tempest demonstrated its true potential as it showcased its offerings at the Convergence Summit South this week.

Following great success at the Convergence Summit North earlier this year, the event gave Tempest the opportunity to fully establish its new-look brand.

Tempest managing director Rob Sims said: "This event has really seen Tempest come of age as a business.

"The company has grown in both capacity and strength over the past 12 months and people are truly starting to recognise the quality and depth of our offering.

Tempest used the Southern event to showcase its eveolved product set to the channel, having added wholesale communications and managed services to its portfolio of billing solutions.

It also took the opportunity to raise company awareness and boost the number of channel partners.

"I think the industry is starting to sit up and acknowledge that Tempest is a total solutions provider with a full service, channel only, offering," said Sims.

"The future of our industry is one that will be dominated bya Data and IP applications as future networking capability and we are capable of supporting bit today's product set and giving partners a platform for future solutions."
